　　Scandate cathode, which is considered as the next generation high emission cathode which has a wide application in electron sources in civil and military areas, has attracted great interests.However, the non-uniform emission, which is mainly attributed to the uneven distribution of scandia or scandium, becomes one of the major issues to hinder its application.
