Dewetting from a liquid substrate is in many respects very similar to dewetting from a solid substrate,except that it has a much richer structure.We present an in-depth comparison of dewetting morphologies(droplets,rims,…)measured by atomic force microscopy in recent experiments with the corresponding predictions from solving thin-film models.
