选取我国有代表性的7 个版本的初中数学教材，对不等式内容的广度、深度、例习题的难度进行定量分析和定性分析，得到如下结论：在教材的综合难度比较上，人教版第一，北师大版其次，苏科版第三，其他版本居其后；在对核心命题及概念的处理上，我国不同版本的教材各具特色，但都注重基础知识的理解和数学思想的渗透。最后，在研究结论的基础上提出一些教学建议。
