Cuprous oxide(Cu2O),a p-type semiconductor with a direct band gap of about 2.2 eV,is potentially applied in the degradation of inorganic and organic pollutants under visible-lightirradiation1,2.Since the photocatalytic activity of Cu2O is significantly influenced by its morphology,controlling the size and shape of Cu2O has been a hot topic and considerable efforts has been made3,4.Traditional synthesis methods in tank reactors always suffer from non-uniform particle size distribution and low yield because of back-mixing and intermittence.Micro-mixer can solve these problems perfectly due to its excellent mass transfer and continuous follow properties,and some types of micromixers has already been applied in synthesizing nanomaterials5,6.
