Aims Mindin is important in both innate and adaptive immunity. However, the role of Mindin during colon cancer development remains undefined. Methods Performed CCK-8, BrdU, flow cytometry and Transwell assays in mouse syngeneic colorectal cancer cell lines (CMT93 and CT26.WT) with stable Mindin knock-down or overexpression. These cells were also subcutaneously transplanted into C57BL/6 and BALB/c mice as well as a colitis-associated colorectal cancer (CAC) mouse model, and tumor growth was monitored.ELISAs were used to measure the serum levels of human Mindin in cancer patients and healthy controls.
