介绍了氙灯抽运的片状固体热容激光器的研究进展。基于大口径片状介质,设计了布鲁斯特角和V形有源镜两种构形激光器,实验研究了两种激光器的静态损耗和增益能力,并对两种构形激光器输出能力进行了测量,获得了最大单脉冲能量达47 J,输出平均功率近1 kW的实验结果。探讨了片状构形向更高平均功率发展的技术途径,并通过实验验证了纵向定标放大的可行性。得出了V形有源镜构形激光器更适合向高平均功率发展的结论。
The research progress of xenon lamp pumped sheet-type solid-state heat-capacity lasers is introduced. Based on large-caliber sheet media, two configuration lasers, the Brewster angle and the V-shaped active mirror, were designed. The static loss and gain of the two lasers were experimentally studied. The output capacities of the two configurations were measured. The experimental results of the maximum single pulse energy of 47 J and the average output power of 1 kW were obtained. The technical approach to the development of higher average power of sheet configuration is discussed, and the feasibility of vertical scaling amplification is verified by experiments. It is concluded that V-shaped active mirror is more suitable for high average power development.
