  母乳不仅为超低出身体重儿提供最佳营养,还具有显著的健康保护益处。母乳喂养对喂养耐受的改善及其本身所含有的众多生物活性分子使得母乳对于早产儿某些严重并发症(如败血症,坏死性小肠结肠炎)具有保护作用。除此之外,母乳还可改善远期健康(降低代谢综合征)和神经发育。尽管早产儿母亲做了巨大努力,但是她们中的大部分还是需要额外补充以满足其早产儿宝宝的全量喂养需求。在这样的情况下,相比较早产儿牛乳基质配方乳来说,捐赠母乳就是更好的选择。将向大家呈现加拿大关于捐赠母乳和早产儿配方乳比较的随机对照研究(DoMINO:捐赠母乳改善神经预后)。的初步结果。
