  Combination of ion-irradiation method and nanoindentation techniques has been widely used for investigating irradiation hardening behavior of fusion and fission reactor materials.Extended Nix-Gao models suggested by the author(RK)were applied for evaluating bulk-equivalent hardness which can theoretically predict Vickers hardness of various ferritic alloys and other materials.This paper shows our recent efforts to establish nanoindentation hardness database of ion-irradiated reduced-activation ferritic-martensitic(RAFM)steels based on the well-defined nanoindentation method.The ion-irradiations were performed in TIARA,QST and DuET,Kyoto University.
