The mechanism of synaptic integration of newly generated neurons in neural stem cells (NSCs) transplantation for damaged restore function in traumatic brain injury (TBI) is not clear.In this study, BDNF-modified NSCs (BDNF/NSCs) or naive NSCs were transplanted into TBI rats.Synaptic protein (SYP), TrkB, the key material and their phosphorylation level of MAPK/ERK signal pathway in BDNF-TrkB downstream were assessed by RT-PCR and western blot.
