Currently,coupled with the electricity consumption account for 8% of the total energy consumption of the whole society which was become an issue.The management expenses also rise sharply because the widely distributed range,diverse types and complex energy situation of university campus caused by scale expand.This paper analyzed energy consumption characteristics and energy saving potential of typical buildings in a comprehensive university in Dalian.The electricity consumption data of the year of 2013 was collected in the campus which introduced the energy management system.Through result of electricity consumption,potential space and reasonable energy conservation strategy were examined.
