Primary Sj(o)grens syndrome is a systematic autoimmune disease with strong evidence of genetic predisposition[1].Previous genome-wide association study (GWAS) for primary Sj(o)grens syndrome in Han Chinese identified a new susceptibility locus (GTF2I-GTF2IRD1)and validated three loci (STAT4,TNFAIP3 and MHC region)[2];all the susceptibility loci are with strong effect (odds ratio (OR) > 1.4).
