  Emission information is crucial for air quality modeling and air quality management.North China Plain (NCP) has experienced enormous economic growth in the past decades and traditional bottom—up methods of deriving emissions bear large uncertainnties and often cannot keep up with the rapid changes in emissions.Measurements of primary pollutants including Nox, SO2, CO and BC were carried out within the HaChi (Haze in China) project at Wuqing Meteorology Station, located between 2 mega-eities (Beijing and Tianjin) in the NCP.
