Objectives:The purpose of this study is to evaluate the clinical results of patients with high energy,complex fractures of the distal femur treated with the Less Invasive Stabilization System (LISS).Methods:From July 2005 to December 2006,41 patients(41 fractures) were treated with indirect fracture reduction and internal fixation using the Less Invasive Stabilization System.There were 31 males and 10 females,with an average age of 38 years (17-65 years).All were high energy,complex fractures.According to the AO/OTA fracture classification there were 11 A3,22 C2,and 8 C3 fractures.Sixteen fractures were open.Main outcome measurements are Clinical and radiographic assessment.
