This paper investigates optimum design sensitivity to multi-parameters of structural topology optimization for the first time.Several new concepts, e.g., gradient derivative matrix to parameters and load sensitivity analysis are introduced to this aim.The motivation is to understand the influences of load parameters, materials properties even boundary conditions upon the optimized topology of a structure.For example, in topology optimization of thermo-elastic problems, the proportion between mechanical and thermal loads essentially influences the optimized topology.The latter may change greatly depending upon whether the load is dominated by the mechanical or thermal load part.In order to reveal the effects of each load portion upon the structural compliance and strain energy, load coefficients λm and λth are introduced as coefficients applied to initial mechanical load vector Fm0 and temperature load vector Fth0.
