Objective Overexpression of long noncoding RNA HOTAIR is associated with a variety of aggressive solid carcinomas; however its relationship with endometrial carcinoma has not been reported yet.We usually divided endometrial cancer into type Ⅰ and type Ⅱ on the basis of clinical behavior and etiology.Type Ⅰ endometrial cancer tumorigenesis is greatly associated with estrogen stimulation.A recent report demonstrated that E2 along with ERs and ER coregulators bind to lncRNA HOTAIR promoter which leads to upregulation of HOTAIR.
