Endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) are contaminants that can interfere with endocrine function in organism at low concentrations and are emerging as a major concern for water quality.Among various groups of EDCs,steroid hormones,alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEOs) and phthalate acid esters (PAEs) acquired high research attention and have been added into the priority pollutants list in EU and US due to their extensive application and estrogenic activity.
