Irrigated agriculture is the biggest consumer of freshwater in competition with other sectors of the society.Field experiments were conducted to test the new designed waste water treatment system for irrigation,to investigate the impact of the partial root zone drying(PRD)irrigation techniques in different growth phases on yield and quality of potatoes,to analyze the effect of the PRD management on the pollutants and microorganism bioaccumulation,diffusion and survival.
