We study the effects of chaotic dynamics in atomic tunneling between two weakly coupled Bose-Einstein condensates driven by two external periodic fields. With the well-known Melaikov criterion, the total parameter space can be separated into three different types: regular region, low and high chaos probability regions. It is found that the tunneling can be enhanced in the presence of chaos. In particular, the chaos-induced inversion of the population imbalance is observed.
