The Rad9-Rad1-Hus1 (9-1-1) complex,evolutionarily conserved from yeast to human,plays crucial roles in DNA repair and cell cycle checkpoint control.The complex is a PCNA-like (proliferating cell nuclear antigen) ring structure composed of three proteins namely Rad9,Rad1 and Hus1.
