Undoubtedly grid generation is truly a worldwide active research area of computational science and grid generation methods is one of the main tools using for mathematical modeling of physical problems.We describe the development of the variational approach for construction of optimal grids [1] in applications for generation of three-dimensional structured grids in the volumes of revolution [2,3].Presented algorithms can be used for multimaterial hydrodynamic simulation and for solving other physical and engineering problems listed, for example, in [4].
