A postharvest short-term treatment of high pressure CO2 is effective on keeping freshness of strawberry fruit, in cultivars with soft pulp.However, the CO2 treated fruit was often suffered from the occurrence of sepal browning during marketing, especially warm season.This experiment was focused on finding potential mechanisms associated with the browning incidence in strawberry sepal.
