Objective:POEMS syndrome is a rare plasma cell dyscrasia and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF),a cytokine correlates with disease activity,is used for disease monitoring.Although clinical improvements can be observed in patients treated by autologous stem cell transplantation or melphalan-based chemotherapy,it still lacks standard hematological criteria to evaluate the treatment response,due to small monoclonal protein and a low rate of abnormal free light chain ratio.
