In this study, a new mixed-mode delamination failure criterion is developed based on an energy release rate prediction methodology for orthotropic materials, a critical plane approach and a nominal approach to evaluate the fatigue damage using remote stresses.A new mixed-mode delamination growth model is then developed for composite materials.
