The new molecularly imprinted microspheres (MIMs) were synthesized by suspension polymerization using phenylamine and 2-naphthol as mimic templates,methacrylic acid as the functional polymer and ethylene glycol dimethacrylate as the cross-linker.Molecular recognition properties,binding capability,and preparation conditions of the imprinted microspheres were evaluated and the results revealed the obtained microspheres had high affinity to Sudans in aqueous system and the selectivity could be easily controlled by adjust the property of the solutions.
