Objective Bufadienolides are a major class ofbioactive compounds derived from amphibian skin secretion.This work aim to characterize the sulfation of bufadienolides including conjugation position, the major SULT enzyme involved in the sulfation metabolism, to investigate the regio-and stereo-selective sulfation properties and structural variation effects of SULT2A1, and the metabolism difference among seven animal species.
