铁线蕨属Adiantum L.隶属凤尾蕨科Pteridaceae 书带蕨亚科Vittarioideae.本属现有200 多种，在泛喜马拉雅地区共有19 种，为本属亚洲的分布中心.据《中国植物志》记载，本属可分为7 个系：单叶铁线蕨系Ser.Reniformia、白垩铁线蕨系Ser.Gravesiana、鞭叶铁线蕨系Ser.Caudatum、掌叶铁线蕨系Ser.Pedata、扇叶铁线蕨系Ser.Fl
利用不同物种间centrin 基因的保守性，根据绿藻，苹，拟南芥的centrin 基因设计引物，从水蕨的DNA 中克隆centrin 基因，全长是1208bp.包括532bp 的开放阅读框，编码127 个氨基酸.

对中国蕨类植物的民族植物学研究进展进行了简要综述。民族植物学于1896 年诞生于美国,1982 年被引人中国。经过不断的发展,我国民族植物学已经形成了自身的研究理论体系,而蕨类植物的民族植物学作为其中的一个分支,近年来也取得了若干进展。
