  In this paper,we are concerned with the numerical method for solving special second-order ordinary differential equation which are oscillatory in nature.This type of differential equations cannot be solved efficiently using conventional methods.The problems need to be integrated over a cycle of the oscillation.To address the problem,a lot of research has been focused on developing methods with reduced phase-lag and dissipation.Phase-lag is the angle between the true and the approximated solution.
