Agriculture Environmental Renewal Canada (AERC) Inc.is a Canadian research and development seed company specialized in the development of forage, silage and grain hybrids of sorghum (Sorghum bicolor, includes Sudan grass) and pearl millet(Pennisetum glaucum).AERC Inc.is proactive in finding environmentally friendly solutions to agriculture.AERC products are widely adapted, from 35 to 47 degrees N latitude and to the cool summers of eastern Canada.They possess early frost tolerance, good early vigor that helps them establish rapidly.AERC developed forage sorghum and pearl millet hybrids produce high biomass yields that are combined with excellent forage qualities.AERC has recently developed sweet sorghum and pearl millet hybrids suitable for silage production.
