  Objective To evaluate the clinical value of transcutaneous CO2(TcPCO2) measurement in sleep apnea monitoring.Methods Patients with sleep appnea and hypopnea syndrome and sleep hypoventilation syndrome underwent polysomnography (PSG) were studied (n=40,aged 52.3±2.3eyears).To validate TcPCO2 (Radiometer TCM4 capnograph) measurement, arterial blood gases (ABG) were undertaken, dynamic change of TcPCO2 was monitored in different sleep stage during PSG testing.
