Direct Combustion or upgrading quality of pyrolysis oils are great challenges due to the extensive coke formation or catalyst deactivation.Catalytic combustion will be a feasible approach in pyrolysis oils combustion process.Cu-Mn based oxides supported on SBA-15 were prepared by hydrothermal synthesis method and wet impregnation varying the molar ratio of Cu/Mn.The catalytic performance in guaiacol total oxidation on these samples exhibited high activity at lower temperature.The molar ratio of Cu/Mn in the range of 0.5~1.2 and Mn/Co<2.0 promoted the activity and the selectivity to CO2.
