PC deficiency is one of the most popular causes of hypercoagulability in Asia.The patients who suffer from PC deficiency always get spontaneous thromboembolic events.There are two types of PC deficiency according to the classification of genotype: heterozygote and homozygote.PC deficiencies in homozygous individuals represent a severe thromboembolic disorder and can result in fatal neonatal thrombotic events.
