In this study,a macroporous resin and preparative HPLC method has been devised to isolate and purify sulforaphene from the seed of Raphanus sativus.The seed was defatted with hexane,dried,and hydrolyzed in phosphate buffer solution (1:9; 0.2M,PH:7.0) for 20 minutes.The sulforsphene in the hydrolysate was absorbed by a column filled with macroporous resin SP700.The column was washed with deionized water and eluted with 20% ethanol/water solution to remove contaminants,and eluted with 50% ethanol/water solution to obtain sulfomphene-rich elution,then recovered ethanol at 40℃ under vacuum in a rotary evaporator and extracted with ethyl acetate to produce a sulforaphene-rich extract.
