Vehicle driving cycle is widely used in automotive industry to test the performance of vehicles, which is an important ref- erence for the design of vehicles.Based on the line intensity method, the sampling method of urban public transit line is presented, in this paper, a kind of comprehensive stability index is proposed to judge whether the sampled data is saturated or not.Based on the clus- ter method, a city bus driving cycle in Xian was built.According to the error analysis which calculated by two methods, this paper ver- ifies the effectiveness of the constructed driving cycle, and lays the foundation for the study of the "one line and one standard".
