  The Spectral Radiation Transport Model for Aerosol Species (SPRINTARS) has been implemented into the Non-hydrostatic Icosahedral Atmospheric Model (NICAM) recently.In this study, aerosol optical depth (AOD), (A)ngstr(o)m Exponent (AE), and single scattering albedo (SSA) simulated by this new aerosol-coupled version of NICAM in the global scale from 2006 to 2008 are evaluated using the ground-based AERONET observations for the first time.
