Aqauporin 9 (AQP9) is one member of aquaglyceroporins,another important aquaporin except AQP4 in brain.Here, to clarify roles of AQP9 and its regulation after ischemia, we examined the expression patterns of AQP9 and MAPK in ischemic brains from the rats with permanent middle cerebral artery occlusion (pMCAO).
