Nowadays,due to the wide use of amorphous silica nanoparticles (SiNPs),its adverse effect on human being has attracted more attention.A plenty of studies have demonstrated a variety of toxicity of SiNPs in vivo and in vitro.However,the cellular internalization,distribution and further ultrastructure injury of SiNPs were not systematically explored.Understanding the interaction between SiNPs and cells is a fundamental step for toxicity assessment.
