Objective: To investigate the distribution of the syndrome distribution and classification of pleural effusions and compare the malignant pleural effusion with benign one in the TCM syndrome to improve the clinical treatment based on syndrome distribution, and to explore the small molecule biomarkers for the identification of malignant and benign pleural effusions and provide a new insight to diagnose and differentiate malignant and benign ones.
