Pedestrian traffic becomes a pivotal part in large cities,but also leads to many conflicts.In order to grasp the traffic characteristics of pedestrians and provide the basis for pedestrian traffic organization,the similarities and differences in traffic composition,arrival rules,walking speed and factors affecting the speed of pedestrians in different environment are analyzed in the paper.The results show the unique walking characteristics in different walking environment.
