In order to overcome the disadvantage of low accuracy for traditional monitoring methods of river level, and satisfy the requirements of real-time data acquisition, automatic processing and remote transmission, we have designed a new telemetering system of fiver level based on fiber Bragg grating and wireless network technology, which can realize high sensitivity automatic monitoring of river level for multiple measure points in a large range of areas.
