Brain edema plays an important role in cerebral ischemic pathogenesis and indicates a worse result of ischemic stroke.Glibenclamide has gained attention for its prominent anti-edema property,but up to now little is known about how glibenclamide treatment alleviated brain edema in acute ischemic stroke.
