TheDepression Executive Dysfunction Syndromeafflicts a considerable number of depressed elderly patients and may be resistant to conventional pharmacotherapy.We studied the Choline Alfoscerate or the ethyl ester of eicosapentaenoic acid (E-EPA) as an adjunct to antidepressant treatment for episodes of depressive disorder occurring in older depressed patients(over 60 years old) with or without executive dysfunction.
