Objective:To elevate the surgical treatment of patients with lumbar spinal stenosis with associated scoliosis that spinal posterior decompression and realign with pedicle screw~rod instrumentation.Methods:38 patients with lumbar spinal stenosis with associated scoliosis were treated with spinal posterior decompression,stabilize and realign with pedicle screw~ rod instrumentation.from January 1998 to October 2005.The average JOA points was 11 and the average Cobb angle of scoliosis was 31 °before operation.
