Bread wheat is one of the most important food crops in the world,Powdery mildew,caused by Blumeria graminis(DC.)E.O.Speer f.sp.tritici(Bgt),is a serious foliar disease of wheat(Triticum aestivum L.)worldwide.Utilization of disease-resistant cultivars is the most efficient and environmentally friendly approach to control this disease.
