The goal of this study was to empirically investigate the effects of parental influences over HTM students career choice intention towards the hospitality and tourism industry in China.The framework was tested in the empirical surveys on 222 tourism undergraduate students in China.T-test,ANOVA,factor analysis,and multiple regression were adopted to analyze the data in this research.The findings showed that "parental support of H&T career" was the most important factor that influences the students intention to choose the H&T career.Parents,school,and the hospitality and tourism industry should build partnerships in the HTM undergraduate students career transformation period.
