Carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) composites were recycled using superheated steam.Recycled carbon fibers were surface treated for reuse as fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) composites.
Impact loading was given to CFRP plates by a drop-weight impact testing machine in order to investigate development of internal damage and its effects on variation of material properties.
This paper examines a method for identifying the location and force history of an impact acting on a CFRP sandwich panel by using the strain responses measured with built-in sensors.
