　　Amyloid diseases(which include Alzheimer's,Huntington's,Parkinson's etc)involve the aggregation of misfolded proteins.Elucidating the intrinsic mechanisms of the chain reactions involved is a major challenge of molecular biology due to the extremely high complexity of the considered processes.I will review existing results and explain our approach,based on combined ODE-PDE and stochastic models.
