To Beijing forest resources investigation fixed sample to for original information.through on total stations instrument of measuring tree theory of system analysis,to forest information investigation of most basic element treehigh,and diameter at breast height and Crown site,to mathematics theory and errors spread theory for based,respectively established of total station instrument tree high measurement model,and total station instrument diameterat breast height measurement model and total station instrument Crown site measurement model,and through errors spread theory solving the model of errors solutions is formula.Tree measuring by calculated fixed total stationsobservations confirm tree height measurement of relative error of total station minimum 0.48％,diameter measuring relative error 3.68%,tree measuring accuracy requirements are met,but because over the Crown and horizontal projection is assumed to be established in circular measurement model,relative error 8.92%,beyond the accuracy of 5%.
