　　OBJECTIVE: To investigate the value of subunit 3 of molecular chaperone TRiC(CCT3)to determine its function in esophageal carcinoma(EC)progression.METHODS: CCT3 expression levels were examined in EC cell lines by quantitative real time PCR.Its expression was suppressed by small interfering RNA and the effects of reducing CCT3 expression in TE-1 cells were tested.Cell proliferation rate,cell cycle and apoptosis were detected to evaluate cell functions in vitro.
