Aim: Previous studies showed that analgesic-antitumor peptide (AGAP), a novel recombinant polypeptide derived from the Chinese scorpion Buthus martensi Karsch (BmK), exhibits analgesic activities has been shown to be antinociceptive in a number of animal models of pain.In this study, the underlying mechanism of AGAP against ion channels inducing VGSC, VGCC and VGPC were investigated in acutely isolated rat DRG neurons.
