Cu(In,Ga)Se2 (CIGS) solar cell has been considered to be one of the most promising solar cells due to its low cost, long-term stability, high radiation resistance and high efficiency.For the industrialization of CIGS solar cells, developing the strategy for highly efficient CIGS solar cells is of key importance.Here we report a new approach to fabricating high-efficiency CIGS solar cells using three-stage co-evaporation processes by active gallium grading control.
